Driving under the influence of alcohol?

What kind of driving patterns suggest that a person has been driving under the influence of alcohol? What are some of the signs and symptoms of alcohol poisoning? What do police officers to determine whether a person is drunk? Note: This is not a task, but please give detailed answers. Thanks! He gave the thumbs down either. I have no idea who did it.
